Daily Attendance Reports, July 1936–June 1951

1936-1951

This series consist of students' daily attendance reports. The attendance reports were filled out by the adviser. The reports are divided into groups of boys, girls and, beginning in 1948, veterans. Statistical data includes date, total number enrolled for the school year, total number dropped for the school year, number present (for duty, sick in hospital, sick in quarters, or in confinement), absent (on leave, without leave, outing), and total number belonging. There is a space for names and remarks. The remarks indicate the reasons for the changes in attendance. Some of the remarks explain duty to leave, leave to duty, hospital to duty, duty to hospital, dropped, and enrolled. The number of students listed "for duty" on the report is the number of students enrolled on that day less the number of students in the remaining categories.
